Story Behind the Art

I was born in Bali, and have always been fascinated with ceramics. I used to sit by the banks of the Ayung River, while my father quarried sandstone. Ceramic is a way to express my creativity. I started to make ceramic products when a tourist friend gave me a small cup. It was so well made and smooth, its shape so simple and unique, that it made me want to produce ceramics.

My hope is to make good quality ceramic products at an affordable price, and to stay constantly creative, using new ideas all the time. I am grateful to God for seeing me through the last years, sometimes they were hard, but always interesting.'
