This is a very beautiful bowl and really adds some color to my kitchen. I got the gold one and I think any color would be great. I love getting things made from other countries, since most are poor and doing this to make a small living. Craftsmanship and quality are exceptional. And of course the packaging is always very nice. Perfect size for fruit bowl or whatever you want to use it for. Love it!!
the ceramic gold glaze with the metal rim has a stunning affect. I bought the Indian pewter serving set and gave them as a wedding gift with the bowl. They were unique and beautiful together.
This bowl is quite lovely. I display it on my counter filled with fruit. It adds color to the kitchen (I got it in gold and I am thinking about getting it in red).

Beautiful yellow bowl but not 14 inches in diameter. It is exactly 12 inches, a little disappointed since I wanted this for a fruit bowl on the kitchen island. I will keep it, but not worth $40.
