This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Unit is well worth the money. It looks exactly like the picture. It also comes with a glass top that was a pleasant surprise as it was not mentioned in the description.

The burl wood cabinet is a beautiful piece of furniture. It is small enough to fit in my entry and yet adequate enough for storing items. The oriental details on the handle and the handle medallion are a nice touch.

The description of this product is false. It is not made of wood and antique hardware but of pressboard and laminate, with cheap reproduction hardware. I was shocked and disappointed by the blatant misrepresentation of its quality, as well as by the price in comparison to what the product is. Save yourself the hassle of having to repackage and return the cabinet as I have.
