Encouraged by her brother-in-law, Balinese artist Sukaenah decided to work with bronze. Together, they began to create a variety of art works, but their favorites are characters with strong historical and religious backgrounds, such as Shiva, Krishna, and Buddha. Working with bronze in a historical context has challenged me to learn more about history and culture, which she greatly enjoys.
