Story Behind the Art:
Nyoman Rena was born on October 11 as the third of five children. Young Rena started to learn wood carving when he was in the third year of elementary school. His grandfather, an architect of traditional Balinese buildings who is also a senior carver, gave much support to Rena's carving and jewelry development. After graduating from elementary school in 1983, Rena was introduced to a famous silversmith in his village by his father. Since then, Rena began learning to craft silver jewelry on Sundays. Making use of his carving ability, Rena combines it with his silver work.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.

This is a great looking choker. Very unusal gift item for that someone who likes unique things. I would highly reccomend this item to anyone looking for a special piece of jewelry for a guy who is into skull tee shirts, it will compliment the look. Very good craftmanship.....I love as a gift choice!
I bought this for my husband. He likes skulls and silver jewelry. He wears the pendant on a nice silver chain he already has and seems really pleased with it. Nice quality. Would recommend. Got within a 1 1/2 weeks....not the 3 weeks the site quoted.
The piece is nice. My only fault with it is that the skull I received is not as "aged" in appearance as shown in the listing photo, as a result, the face of the skull is difficult to see. That said I realize this is handcrafted, each item will be a little different, so I am not returning it.
I'm surprised that no one has written a review on this piece yet :)I ordered it a few weeks ago for my hubs and I really think it's a great necklace.It's relatively inexpensive, the chord is of nice quality and of course the detail on the skull is great!Love it :)
