Blue Lace Necklace (India)

T his is more of a robin's egg blue, or a bluish-turquoise

The poor quality glass beads are rough. The irregular shapes add to the style of the piece. But, the beads need to be polished or finished better. The lace effect was different than I expected, but added a distinct style. Even though I forfeited nearly half the purchase price when I returned the piece, I would never wear a piece with such poor quality beads.

I bought this necklace for my friends birthday and was very disappointed when it arrived. There was nothing turquoise about it, the beads are BLUE. It was a toss between a multi colored beaded necklace or the so called "turquoise", I wish now that I would have chosen the multi colored stones.

This product is not a light turquoise, but it is indeed a darker turquoise color. It is non the less BEAUTIFUL and ethnic looking. Its adjustable so you can make it shorter, (closer to your neck), or longer. I love it, and would totally buy it as a gift for a friend.

Both the picture and the description on the website led me to believe that these beads were a turquoise color. They are not turquoise, they are more of a Williamsburg blue. The necklace is well-made and had I had clothes that were Williamsburg blue to wear with it, I would keep it, but my clothes are turquoise and it will not match. It's a shame too, because it is well-made and very pretty. It's just a strange color that's not even close to turquoise.
