Mayda is a friendly and happy girl who is always smiling. 'I was born in East Java,' she says. 'My hobby is making designs in my sketch book. When I was little, I loved to draw houses, landscapes and the human figure. These then changed to dresses, bags, jewelry and other fashion sketches when I became a teenager, and I still sketch these themes today. I moved to Bali and worked in a garment company for two years. There I could really develop my hobby of fashion design and I learned more about clothing. Together with several friends, I formed a group of people to create home decor items, fashion accessories like bags and jewelry, and also dresses.'

the scarf i bought and the one that arrived at my door, are completely different. i expect a slight difference in appearance from the photograph and the actual product. what i got didn't look anything at all like the scarf i wanted. i try to buy accessories that will match other outfits. i didn't return it because i'm too lazy and i can wear it with jeans. if you're looking for something in lavender and aqua, this isn't what you'll get!
Although it is a beautiful scarf, mine has no fringe on it, so I'm calling it "not as pictured". Disappointing, but not worth returning.
I ordered the shawl to wear to an outdoor evening wedding, over a very simple sleaveless sheath dress. The colors, although not the same as on my browser, went well with the dress and gave the outfit more style. The scarf does have more colors than depicted, and doesn't look exactly like the picture. In my case, it still worked.
