The Story Behind the Art

Anu worked as a teacher before turning to her first love, textiles, for a living. She likes the freedom of working for herself and the fact that grading papers is a thing of the past. She works with her husband to produce beautiful scarves and shawls for many people. She has worked with many of the same artisans for years, and takes as much care with quality control as she does with design. Anu's daughter is an artist who aspires to design fashion clothing some day. The family lives and works in New Delhi, India.

Scarf has muted colors, appears to be well-made. Haven't been able to wear it yet, due to temperature, but it is a striking and eye-catching accent. Will coordinate with quite a few coats/jackets. Only graded it 4 on comfort as I haven't worn it for an serious length of time.

I absolutely loved the colors and thought this scarf would be perfect with my new off-white coat. The color really pops and I have received a ton of compliments already! Definitely classy and a terrific buy!
