Art of Liuli - Moon's Heart Necklace (China)

I've wanted this pendant for a long time. It was on sale and I bought it. What I loved about it on the website was the flow of beautiful colors. What I received was a smaller version with the entire top gold colored and the rest, in three even shapes, blocks of color, no flow at all. For a much lower price, it would be ok, but for the price I paid (high, even on sale), it is very sub standard and not at all what I expected. I'm disappointed . I'm sending it back.

The glasswork is very pretty.... the cord is not... I find these corded-type necklaces at local fleamarkets on cheaper necklaces. Wish I knew what it was made of.... says crystal like, like glass... so what is it? Like to know in case I get a compliment and can state what it's made of. I like the colors a lot and mine looks like what's pictured on OS website. I haven't worn it out yet... but I'm sure I'll get compliments on it because it's unusual looking.

I was very suprised and delighted when I received my necklace in 3 days. When I opened the beautiful box and peeked inside I was at first taken aback. The colors were beautiful. I truly felt like I was wearing a rainbow around my neck. I prefer wearing it with black and the necklace really looks great with jeans. It truly is a very artistic piece of jewerly. Very glad I spent the money!!!!

Bought it as intended gift for my Daughter-in-law and kept it for my self. I live the ease of puting it on. It is dressy enough to wear with skirt and sporty to go with jeans. Will buy another one as a Birthday present.

Well, what I saw in the picture was not what I received. I'm sure there's a disclaimer present though that not all of the pieces will be that color. However, mine is mostly orange and green (and no purple whatsoever, which is what I was really looking forward to). The string that hangs from is purple and gold.. which looks a little funny considering there's no purple on the pendant, so I'm just going to take it off and re-string it onto something else. Don't get me wrong; it's a beautiful pendant. I was just expecting different colors.
