Story Behind the Art:

Traditional Persian rugs are made by nomads, who spend years weaving each rug. Rugs are made on wooden looms, typically with the tribe's own wool. Artisans obtain their dyes from local vegetables, flowers, tree bark, insects, etc. True masters create signature designs and color combinations. Rug quality is also determined by knots per square inch, ranging from 30 to 600 knots.Tip: We recommend the use of a non-skid pad to keep the rug in place on smooth surfaces.
