The Story Behind the Product

This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

It's a nice looking piece with no assembly required, but disappointed with the workmanship & appearance. The hooks put in the back of the mirror to hang with is put in at a spot where the Chinese characters in the front side of the mirror end up being crooked, so the writing does not go up and down--instead its at an angle. Not a huge deal, but not what I would have liked or expected.

Arrived with the mirror off of the frame with the glue all dried up on the side the back holders were also strewn in the box.....Very pretty mirror though. I applied some mirror glue attached the screws and the holders back on and that solved the problem. Super fast delivery A++ Does not appear like mahogany to me, the work is a bit shabby when you look closely at the detailing. With all that being said the mirror still looks good and is serving its purpose.

This mirror is beautiful and goes great with our asian inspired room. Has slight imperfection at the bottom of the mirror, but not so noticeable that would warrant sending back. Color is gold with green hue that happens to work well in the room it is hung in. Overall, very happy with purchase and would recommend to anyone.
