Ying started working as a designer of decorative items, before falling in love with Thailand's ancient Lanna culture: 'I studied all I could, and absorbed their way of thinking. In 2006, I decided to explore silver jewelry, because I believed in preserving Lanna's silversmith traditions. I felt very proud to see how my first collection as a jewelry designer was well accepted. My inspiration comes from the natural world around me, tree bark, flowing rivers, flowers and leaves, sometimes combined with Thai silk.
