Amethyst Glass Horn Clasp Necklace (India)

The necklace I received was beautiful--deep amethyst, but not so dark as to be mistaken for black or other colors as some reviewers had noted. (The clasp was black.) Of course, as with any natural materials, there will be variation in color, shape, and size of beads. For someone of small to slightly-above-average build, it is perfect. For someone who is QUITE heavy, the clasp might not be as secure due to its design. Overall, I thought it was lovely, and the recipient was very pleased with it, as well. In my book, that made it well worth the purchase.

I did not know what to expect when ordering this necklace. It is very pretty. The glass beads are darker than pictured. But it still works well with my genuine Amethyst jewelry. I would recommend to a friend.

I purchased this necklace as a Christmas gift for my sister It is hard to buy her jewerly as she is allergic to anything but 22 ct gold. I was so pleased to find the this contained absouluty no metal. My sister loved it. She said the color was very unusual that she was not sure what the stones were but that they matched each other perfectly and that it is almost a neutral so can be worn with nearly anything. It may be a little heavy but its worth the weight.

This is a very rich looking necklace, well made, and a good value. The only problem is the length. The "hanging straight down from clasp to clasp" is 22", but when it is put on it is about 20" on the inside diameter. Should be relatively easy to put a simple extender on it. The horn clasps aren't very secure. Will probably put a 3-4" silver chain extender on with small screws or epoxy. This is not to take away from the fact that it looks great!

the necklace is beautiful! the color is very nice. i would recommed this necklace, it was a gift, and was hard to give away.
