Story Behind the Art

Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Nabi was born in the Egyptian countryside but moved to Cairo and grew up there. Mr. Abdel Nabi has worked in the field of marble, alabaster and stone for most of his adult life. Of course, giving work to people is called 'opening homes' in Egypt. To be able to help people by giving them work is not only a responsibility, but a pleasure.

What is Worldstock?

Alabaster products are manufactured by hand, using alabaster from every commercial quarry in Egypt. Alabaster is a natural, translucent marble which can vary in color from a clear lemon color to a rich shade of mango orange or even a very light cafe au lait. Each piece will be unique and variation from the photo should not be considered a flaw.
