Alabaster Amphoras Set (Egypt)
Light up any setting with our amphora alabaster set.
The amphora is a well know shape in ancient Egyptian history; it was mainly used for storing olive oil and wine. We have recreated a smaller version in alabaster and have put four 3 1/4-inch amphoras together to scatter or group together. These beautiful translucent tea light holders will charm and delight candle lovers. Hand made of the finest hard crystal oriental alabaster, each one is original with distinct markings and coloration. The purchase of this product helps support a tradition that has been carried on for generations.
What is Worldstock?
Alabaster products are manufactured by hand, using alabaster from every commercial quarry in Egypt. Alabaster is a natural, translucent marble which can vary in color from a clear lemon color to a rich shade of mango orange or even a very light cafe au lait. Each piece will be unique and variation from the photo should not be considered a flaw.

I am very happy with these candle holders. I have never owned alabaster before but it is very like porcelain and the light shining thru is very golden....

These are lovely little votives, carved in classic shapes evoking antiquity. The quality of the alabaster isn't pristine, however, they're well finished and look ever so romantic, warming the candlelight that passes through.
