I purchased this lamp for our 2nd bedroom which is oriental and this lamp fit in beautifully, the silk lamp shade had a rich quality to it and the ceramic base is has a nice antique ming dynasty finish to it. I would highly recommend it. The shade was slightly crooked but it was very easy to adjust into place.
