Story Behind the Art:

This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China and is run by a wonderful family. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent.

What could be better than a functional piece of art? The flower blossom lamp with it's beautiful floral design, it's beautiful shade, and ease in assemly met all my needs. I love the international influence this lamp brings to my home.

The Flower Blossom Lamp is a beautiful way to brighten any room in the house. I placed it in front of a mirror because the blossoms are painted on both the front and back. The shade feels and looks like silk and the shape and size is perfect for the round base. The lamp and shade were carefully packed and I received my order in just a few days. Thanks, Overstock.com! I get a lot of compliments from my family and friends. It was a worthwhile investment in my home's decor. I would recommend the Flower Blossom Lamp to anyone because while Asian, it could work with almost any style.
