The Story Behind the Product
This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

Great fit
These doors are a perfect complement to my dining area. They are well constructed and sturdy. The description of the doors was accurate. Easy to assemble the frame and minimal work to install. Very pleased overall.

Great Doors! the shipping needs to be more cleaf
The doors are great, color exactly what I thought, my husband had to do a little adjustment with the height, but now fits perfectly. We took the advise from other reveiews and pledged the tracks and they are slide great.

Not if ya got kids
We had these installed by a pro carpenter and he had some trouble because the unit wasn't square from the factory. The track on the bottom will come up off the floor about 2-3 inches, we didn't want to have to keep tripping over that so the carpenter cut the floor out to sink it. He had to fidget a bit and put a slider on the bottom of one door and we waxed the track to get it to glide smoother unfortunately for us the door can come out of the track very easily on the left side so we just open the other side only. You shouldn't have to but its not like they are A1 quality but I'm hopeful an idea will strike me as to how to fix it. They are wood and are painted nicely(We got black) As for the paper part, its pretty strong but not if you have kids ruffin around or a very curious CAT! The paper also starts to yellow after a while. When up they do look striking.

Great closet door!
Great product. We wanted shoji screen closet doors (sliding) and everything online (no local sales in rural america) was very pricey. These fit the bill perfectly. The quality is good, not stellar, but they're in the Master BR so they aren't going to be beat on. I don't mind that the screen is only on one side because the clothes are on the other. The light that comes through is beautiful. 2 issues: they don't slide smoothly and there are no handles, so you are grabbing the shoji frame to slide it. Not a deal breaker. We solved the sliding issue by spraying some Pledge along the track and that worked like a charm. Beeswax would have been more natural, but a little more work.
