Thailand's Lai talks of her craft: 'I work seven days a week but I love what I do because it is fun for me. I've been approached by customers speaking in many different languages. I don't understand their exact words but I have been able to understand their meaning because they're talking about the art that I have designed and am passionate about. I can usually then sketch out what the customers are talking about which makes my work even more fun. I have this understanding of how the colors as well as patterns and designs of stones come together.'

Much better than expected!
This brooch is well made. The pin part is sturdy. It will hold in place and not bend or break. Very good size , big enough that it won't get lost but not so large it droops all over. I had a difficult time deciding wether to buy the white and black or or the black and white. I think I will go ahead and get the black and white too.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? Yes, it actually looks better than the picture.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I was impressed at how well made the brooch was. Worth every penny!
