Story Behind the Art:
Woven by natives of the Himalayan country of Nepal, each piece is hand crafted by talented Nepalese women in their leisure time. Many of these women make their living crafting these beautiful, warm hats. Most of the women come specifically from the town of Bhaktapur. Some tourists have described this part of Nepal as being like Disneyland, but with its own primitive and unique character, a town of living heritage.

Just what I wanted.
I was really hesitant about buying these gloves, but I am really glad I did. They look so much better in front of you then they do in the picture. I had been look everywhere for fingerless gloves and I really fell in love with these.

warm and cozy
I wear a thin pair of gloves under these when its really cold. But they really are a nice gift for the younger folks who do alot of cell phone texting etc.

very warm, thick
the fingerless gloves from nepal were exactly as represented in the internet site. the colors were perfect and the gloves were well-made. What I didn't anticipate was that the gloves were thick (being made of wool) and felt heavy on the hands. They were beautiful, though.
