Story Behind the Art:
Woven by natives of the Himalayan country of Nepal, each piece is hand crafted by talented Nepalese women in their leisure time. Many of these women make their living crafting these beautiful items. Most of the women come specifically from the town of Bhaktapur. Some tourists have described this part of Nepal as being like Disneyland, but with its own primitive and unique character, a town of living heritage.

These were purchased as a gift for my daughter. I bought the brown with orange peace signs. They have a very soft fleece like lining inside which is really nice. Since they fit myself and my daughter they obviously dont run extra large, but I would say just right for small to medium sized hands. She loved them, and they do seem well made.

Wool Warmers
My 14 year old granddaughter loved these wool warmers with the peace sign symbol. They go well with her coat and are currently in style.

I purchased three pairs of these for gifts, They are great, perfect for the recipients' needs, and easy to wear. I especially like that they are *not* 'fingerless gloves' with separation between the fingers. This style allows for dexterity while wearing. The fleece lining is a plus. I would have given them 5 stars if they came sized: they are too small for anyone with really large hands or wrists/arms.
