Story Behind the Art:
Sahil comes from a family of weavers who work in a workshop that was started by their grandfather. 'We started with blankets and in 1999, we started specializing with 'jamawar' shawls and scarves. The original jamawar originated in Kashmir and was woven and embroidered entirely by hand, but today the textiles are woven on the jacquard loom.'
