This handcrafted item and many others come from a third-generation family-run workshop in mainland China. Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering and hand-tooling have been passed down for many generations. We are proud to support them in their quest to keep their age-old techniques alive for future generations. Many of the artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home, training the next generation to become master craftsmen. These masters are highly respected in their craft and their culture which have survived through many Chinese dynasties and continue to produce valuable and desirable pieces for your home decor

poor quality
This is such a poor quality furniture, really unbelievable. The wood is so bad and t6he workmanship is even worse. Not as the picture AT ALL. It won't raise the room but only make you angry. I don't even want it if you give me for free. Don't buy it and be careful for any product from this company.

Run Away from this item
This item states that this piece is handcrafted and solid wood. I received the piece damaged, not from shipping but from packing. The sides and front were completely messed up. The glue on front was poorly done. This is a particle board piece with a cheap sticker attached to the front. The write is a complete fraud! Run away and save yourself the time.
