These artisans work from home in their villages. Each village specializes in a particular craft and style. The village production team is ensured to have the timber, the drawings and the other essentials to craft the product into the specialty of that particular area. Each village has its own specialized sets of tools to complete their aspect of the crafting of the furniture. In order to maintain consistency, each batch is crafted by the same teams.

Wooden Console came damaged (2 times!)
We got the first oder for this item and realized (without taking it all the way out of the box) that it was broken. So, I called and asked for a second one to be sent. The picked the damaged one up, and in about a week, the second one came. But alas, it too was broken in almost the exact same place. It seemed such a sturdy item, heavy and solid, but again, the part that was broken was the latice criss-cross wood that could not be fixed by us in any way. We were frustrated, to say the least, and decided not to order a third one, even though it was the perfect dimensions for the space we were going to use it in.

I'd buy this table again and again
I absolutely love this hall table. I have been watching it for awhile trying to make a decision to buy or not to buy. Finally, there was only one left and I bought it. I am so glad, I did it. It has a gorgeous color and beautiful distressed finish. It perfectly fits in my narrow 12" hall space and looks fantastic. Also, I am very satisfied with the quality. However, the table came broken, but Overstock issued us a refund and we fixed it with no problems. Great product and service.
