Story Behind the Art:
These pieces are made by third- and fourth-generation artisans in a family-operated craft workshop in Jodhpur. The specialty of this region is the traditional embossed paintings where importance of touch and textures is equally great as visual appeal. An artwork that was employed on the palaces of Rajasthan, now applied to small home decor items like these.
