I liked this piece very much. I had nice, but not terrible weight. The wood was dark brown as pictured and smooth. I did leave it wrapped below the neck but loved the face and the curls were fun, individual and detailed. I am very pleased,

This Buddha statue is a work of art and has wonderful energy. The quality of the carving is exquisite and much better than I expected for the price. If you are looking for a "warm" Buddha...this is the one for you!
