Story Behind the Art:
Addo started as an apprentice in a local craft shop where his talent for drawing was first discovered. He has a remarkable ability to translate concepts into drawings that are used to develop products. A few years later he set up his own small-scale craft shop creating unusual pieces for the local market. Today, Addo has expanded his craft business to include other artisans and produces for the international market. The income from his business has helped support his large extended family and create employment for others.
