After seeing this in my neighbor's house, I decided to buy one for a friend as a 5th anniversary gift since the element that represents a 5th wedding anniversary is wood. She loved it and said it was the prettiest anniversary gift she received.

I have owned this for about a year now. I love it. It goes perfectly in our bedroom. I do not like to spend much money on decorative items, but I had to make an exception for this one. Well worth it!

Bought for a 5yr anniversary (wood year). Simply breathtaking. More beautiful in your hands than in the picture. Expresses everything you would want to say to any loved one.

When I decided to buy this statuette, I did so reluctantly. I'm not really into dust collector's but there was something about the statuette that drew me to it. It was also a bit more than I wanted to pay but since it's part of the NOVICA program I figured that even if I didn't like it - at least I was helping someone worthy! I have to say that I'm very impressed with it. The wood itself is a light wood - it doesn't weight a whole lot. I really like that about it - also the wood has been sanded very well and it's smooth to the touch. I do have to mention that because it is so light that it's very easy to knock over but lucky for me it's also very sturdy! One last thing is the picture does't really do it justice - I wasn't expecting the statuette to be as elegant as it is.

• How accurate was the sizing? pretty good, but from the pictures it's hard to picture it so much larger and it is pretty big.

I try to keep reviews short and sweet - if you want to make an impression on a female loved one get this - My wife loved it and it sits in our bedroom today as a reminder of us.

This was just the piece that I was looking for! We recently remodeled our bedroom, and this was the touch I was looking for. Took a while to get here but was worth the wait. We love it!

This statue is absolutely gorgeous, a bit smaller then I expected but really nice. Great as a gift.

This sculpture is perfect for someone that is a happily married couple or in love. It is made of good quality, no rough or uneven edges. I gave this to my grandparents for their anniversary, and they absolutely love it! Highly recommend!

I expected the piece to more solid and the color out of the box is not as shown in photo. This wood statuette is a darker brown and is very light weight. I imagine it would smash into 100 pieces if dropped.

I was very happy when I received this statue. When I unwrapped it, I was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful wooden statue. It was exactly what I was looking for. When I received it, it was wrapped up so that it would not get damaged. I was very happy to see that. The product is fantastic and I would and have recommend this to friends.

This carving is beautiful, sleek and just overall an impressive value. I got it for my wife for Mothers Day and it immediately earned the ring of honor on our living room mantel. Worth buying for that special someone in your life.

This statue is beautiful. The quality of the wood is great and the craftmanship is perfect! It is a perfect piece to put on a shelf, mantle, or wall cut in. I love it and so does my boyfriend (which means it doesn't look super girly or cheesy!)

I'm doing my Christmas shopping early and got these for my 2 children - a daughter and a son. They won't get them until December, but I think they are positively lovely and I know they will both love them.

I gave this statue to my b/f for Valentine's day and he Loved it. Would be great for anniversaries or other special occasions as well.

I purchased this as a piece for my home. The wood is beautiful and like nothing I've seen before. It came very beautifully Packaged, from National Geographics. It also had to be signed for from Fed Ex. It took a little longer than expected but 3 days sooner than the promised delivery date. It is so pretty, I just can't tell you how much I love it. It was a little smaller than expected. This is something I'm going to have to be careful about when buying items on the internet. However, this is a gift or something that you'd buy for your home, that looks very rich. I love how the two people kissing looks like a heart. This will sit above my mantle. The only reason for the four stars instead of five, was the size. Otherwise it's gorgeous! It would make a lovely wedding gift for someone who has everything, while it looks very expensive, and wouldn't break the bank. Buy it, you will not be sorry!

I absolutely loved this carving & wish I would have bought 2!! It looks beauitful in our house. The only thing I was a bit surprised about is that it isn't very weighty but it doesn't matter to me. Just beautiful!
