this is a very detailed screen that you cannot see the all the detail online. There is much activity and many subtle colors of pale green and muted red/orange in the painting in addition to the gold you can see. It is excellently packed and is a room highlite just as I envisioned it. Its displayed in a very high ceiling room and I rased the screen with a 1 foot stand. The screen stands on 4 individual feet so be sure and plan for that as it is quite heavy in weight

at first,I got trouble to find the right spot to display this screen,it made my living room too dark and crowed,then moved it to the basement,and it isn't big enough for the space down there,finally I put it in my bedroom,and became happier ever since,I just hope it could be higher,and it would perfect for that wall in my room.

I am extremely pleased with the screen, it's absolutely gorgeous, I understand each piece is done by hand, and whoever did this one did a beautiful job.

This screen is wonder and busy with figures. The photo does not show that there are many people involved in and around many things. The figures are coppery orange, gold, etc. and detailed. The whole screen visually is dynamic and involved. Because of the people and the activities, it merits close inspection. The screen is formal and would probably go best in a room that has browns, golds, copper rather than pinks, blues and greens because the screen will definitely be the focus of the room.

This is a formidable piece of furniture and quite substantial. Not only is the front design exquisite, but the back is beautiful as well, with a subtle gold Oriental design on the dark wood. It is an investment piece and one that not only gives me great pleasure today, but one that will continue to delight for many years in the future.
