Individually handcrafted by artists on the exotic islands of Bali and Java in beautiful Indonesia. Sarongs are one of the most versatile and earliest forms of clothing that dates back 1,000s of years and have been utilized around the world in one form or another. Batik is a design method that has been employed for centuries and is handed down from generation to generation, usually from a father to son or mother to daughter. It is an extremely difficult art to master and sons and daughters start this work at an early age because it requires a great deal of practice and patience. Each batik sarong is a work of art and can take hours and sometimes days to create depending on the difficult of the design.

A few of the hanging fringe threads have dropped off, but so far no beads. Overall, I'm satisfied. :)

Beautiful blue
This is really different and I love the shade of blue. The tiny little shells that are at the ends of the fringes gives it a unique look.

Its nice quality but I did not notice the shells on the fringe. I wanted it as a dressy shawl and the shells make it casual. However I will keep it, I got one with sequins on it. Thank you
