I bought this robe for a dear friend and am very happy with the beauty of the batik. It comes with a letter telling you about the artisan which makes the gift just that much more interesting. The material is heavier than I expected, it has substance to it. It's not flimsy. I would highly reccommend this item to anyone.

Okay, I had read the reviews about the change in colors so I thought I was prepared. I was not. The robe arrived in completely different colors, hunter green, mustard and navy blue. The predominent colors are the mustard and green. I'm so disappointed. Not the colors you associate with women batik styles. The colors are very masculine and don't give me a happy feeling. That said, the drape and weight of the material is very nice and it is well cut and generously proportioned. For that reason I'm keeping it but for the price I would have expected the robe to match better to the colors in the photo. I really need a robe, otherwise I would have returned it. Be forewarned! Can't someone update the photo?

I bought this robe, knowing from reading other reviews that the colors would be somewhat different from what you get. (Batiks are unique--you almost never can match the same dye lots as a former dye batch made.) The robe was BEAUTIFUL upon arrival. I immediately washed the robe in HOT water with an oxygen bleach. (I wanted to get the worst over with in regards to future washings.) I tumbled it dry in a medium setting dryer. The robe came out almost feeling like a light, light peachskin! The fabric didn't bunch or gather, it didn't stretch anywhere in the dryer--and it still overlaps everywhere to cover a 2x torso! The final main colors were an orange/yellow, and forest green. It is soft and drapes comfortably without a wrinkle or pucker anywhere!

Glad I was home as I had to sign for it from Fed-X. The robe is darker than pictured but I anticipated that from reading the former reviews. I have been looking for a unique-batik robe for years and until now I have had to settle for less. This robe is gorgeous and just the right weight. It's a Palm Beach look without the Palm Beach price!

This was a birthday gift. My daughter was pleased. She lives in AZ and yhe fabric and style was appropriate for the heat there. Hopefully this fabric will look just as nice after it is washed.

I wanted a robe that was functional yet nice looking, and this robe fits the bill. The craftsmanship is unbelievable. A nicer touch to the order was the enclosed card that detailed the maker from Bali and a little background on her as well. Overall, Overstock has yet to disappoint me and this was once again a great buy for the price! I've alraedy recommended the robe to my friends.

This robe is wonderful. I ordered 2 previous to this one but didn't like the colors. This robe looks just like the picture. It fits the fuller figure with out any gaps, and feels soft and flows well.

This is really a wonderful gorgeous robe. I gave it 3 stars because the quality of rayon and needlework is great. If the artist could stay true to the description " Rippling like peaceful waves across a sea of jade and sapphire" overstock would not have so many complaints, returns, and bad reviews on this item. the reality is that what is now being sent out are waves of mustard and spinach in a sea of darkness. I bought the robe for the color and the fact that i LOVE batik!!!!!. the size is great- very roomy. the fabric is really wonderful to the touch. i have decided yet, whether to buy a procion dye and cover it (a normal dye wont cover it) or to return it. procion dyes are lots of trouble! but im very disappointed. i had already returned it once hoping for the blue green waves one and i got the exact same mustard spinach one again.

Like the other reviewers of this item, the colors don't match the photograph. The one I received is much darker, but nice enough for lounging at home. The fabric drapes well. Can't beat it for the price.

I'd love to give this robe 5 stars because it's so soft, comfortable and elegant. I love the fit and the feel, but, like other reviewers have said, the color is way off. Instead of turquoise, blue and pale yellow, it's deep navy, dark green and orange. I'm really disappointed in the color but the robe is so lovely otherwise that I'm going to keep it. However, it's very oversized, which is great for me since I'm a 1X gal, but a petite person would swim in this.

I was very pleased with the robe, the colors were a litte different than what I expected but it is very wellmade. I will order more in the future.

This is the second robe of this type I've purchased from this collection. (First one was the red with hibiscus flowers, which I adore.) The color of this robe is NOT at all what is depicted in the photo - it is actually a much darker blue, not the aqua color shown (other reviewers had alerted me to this possibility). But it is still a beautiful pattern and I'm very happy with it. The only problem is that it had a bit of a musty odor when I opened the box (this was NOT the case with the previous one I'd purchased in a different color). But I threw it into the washing machine, and when it came out it was fine. Both of these robes are amazingly comfortable & quite lovely. Just be aware that the color is darker than what is shown in the photo (more of a cobalt blue/navy pattern). But, that said, it is a wonderful soft comfortable robe & I would definitely recommend it.

Color showed as blue tones in picture,actually was green tones,I like even better.All robes are hand dyed so there may be variations on colors,be good to state that in description.A true size fits all garment.

Great Gift! I purchased one for myself and as a gift. Also the Men's for my husband. They are Beautiful and lightweight for warmer climate!

its very pretty and fits nicely...after reading the other reviews i had to get this for myself...i'm glad i did. one of the more exotic items in my wardrobe!

Very nice robe. I love the feel and look of it. It arrived quickly and in a nice box. I like how unusual it is, you won't find a robe like that in a mall. Only not fabulous thing about it was the length of the tie. It should have been about 10 inches longer. I am a size 8-10 and found it small. It still tied but there wasn't much left to hang. Overall though NICE.

I wanted a light weight robe that would work well in the warm months and also great for packing, and this robe is great for both. When the robe arrived I had expected the blue to be more teal/turquoise color, but it was navy. I still like it; it just wasn't the same colors as pictured. Also it arrived with a strong packaging smell.

I wear this robe all the time. It fits and feels great.

This robe is so perfect for me. I love the colors and style....totally classy. It's light weight, which is great for me as I am very warm blooded. It's long for good coverage and it's beautiful! This robe is really beautiful, fabric is quality, colors nice, feels wonderful. Sometimes wrap around robes can make you look big but this one doesn't. Will be nice around the house or the beach. Also comes in a fabric box that will be good for odds and ends or to wrap a special gift.
