I purchased two versions of the Women's Bean Project bundles -- the soup and cornbread and the chili -- to offer as door prizes at a recent scholarship banquet. When I opened the box, I wished I had purchased a few more for myself and as gifts for others. The first thing that you notice is the wonderful fragrance. Also, the packaging is beautiful. I must confess that I have not yet tasted the products because they were given as gifts, but I feel comfortable that the food was enjoyed by the recipients. I will definitely purchase more of these bundles. Also, it is such a worthy project that I cannot help but support them.

First, I must say that this is my second year sending the soup and chili items from the Women's Bean Project. Everyone so appreciates this gift... it is thoughtul, handmade, nicely packaged and shipped without a flaw! Each package contain the woman's name on it that has made it. Not only does it inspire one to think about our less fortunate in the community and appreciate life, and but also make the chili, soup, et all ,with a mindful heart and loving hands! My friends have said how much they like the idea of supporting the homeless women to future success thru the giving of this gift! Kudos to Overstock for such a fabulous feature/product on their site! I love Overstock - it is my favorite shoppiing place! Happy Holidays!

My mid twenties daugher was quite surprised and happy with this gift under the tree. She lives in VT and is a vegetarian and very health conscious as well as socially conscious. She was touched that her mom ordered something that would benefit needy women and was packaged in a environmentally conscious manner. She has not used it yet so I cannot attest to how it tastes however but I am betting it will be delicious and an easy meal for her to prepare.. I would definitely order this or a similar package again.

Purchased this as a gift. Super fast arrival...nice packaging. I'm only rating this 4 stars because we haven't actually used the products yet.

Very nice as gifts for women friends. Practical and nicely packaged, don't need to wrap.

Didn't actually receive this myself, but bought several as gifts and shipped direct from O. The recipients seemed pleased with the product and with the cause.

This was a gift for my tree hugging friend that has everything - it was a big hit!

Everytime I've sent a Women's Bean Project product to a friend or family member, the recipient has been very pleased! The quality and presentation of the products are always excellent.

The corn bread and soup bundle is eay to prepare and received raves from my guests. They were so pleased that I purchased more bundles to surprise the folks with gifts for b-day, Christmas, etc.....they are well received!!! If you can follow the directions you, too, will be very pleased.

My aunt loved this gift! The product was high quality, and she loved the fact that it was a donation to a worthy cause. My only complaint is about the order from Overstock - OVERSTOCK NEEDS TO ADD A GIFT TAG OPTION! I sent this as a gift, but the recipients had no idea who it was from because I could not indicate it on the gift. But, the product itself was great!

A Gift and was very well received. I like the idea of giving these ladies a helping hand and at the same time giving a meaningful gift.

I sent the bean & cornbread bundle as a birthday gift to my brother and sis-in-law as they share the same Bday. They really enjoyed receiving the "birthday beans" and thought it was a cool idea to support the women's bean project cause. Since I read previous reviews, I am glad I made a note that I was sending it to them in their birthday card (that I sent separately). Even though I checked "gift" on the bean gift order...it was a mystery as to whom sent the package when it arrived. OVERSTOCK REALLY NEEDS TO ADD A "GIFT TAG" LINE ON ITS ORDERS...my only suggestion.

This was given as a gift and well received. It would have been nice to have a place for the giver's name however. The person that received it had to call to inquire who it was from. This is a great product and the company offers jobs for folks that need the help getting back into the work force.
