Easy to assemble, and fairly sturdy. The cord exit is a little awkward, but that can be managed with cord ties. The lamp only supports a single 60 watt bulb, so I'm losing a bit of light from the 3-bulb lamps from another vendor that it is replacing. However, it looks so much better overall that I'm happy I made the trade. Definitely a handsome addition to my office- the Rosewood color complements the existing furniture, and I've gotten a lot of positive comments on the set of four I purchased.

Super easy assembly... I used a 60w bulb in this lamp and it produced a lot of light but it was not harsh at all. My only complaint is that seeing it up close, this lamp may not be quite worth the price tag, but it certainly is a nice addition to my living room!

Great looking accent light. Build quality is a little on the wobbly side.

We had recently redone our bedroom in a zen/modern asian style and this lamp along with its taller counterpart in a corner together are GORGEOUS and it illuminates nicely. It is a soft glowing light--not harsh at all. We have a 60 watt bulb in it. Also, a great feature is the foot control to allow for activation of on/off. Just step on it and VOILA!!! Easy to assemble, packaged securely and delivered quick. It really gives off a WOW feeling in the room!!!!!!

it's really nice looking, and gives a nice low diffuse light to gently light the room, but I think it was a little overpriced for what it is.

This lamp is beatufiul. I bought it for soft, ambient lighting for my therapy room and all my clients have commented on how lovely it is. I didn't expect it to be as sturdy and well built as it isn for the price I paid. I am very happy with it.
