The unique image on this roll-blind got my attention & the blind's width is clearly stated @ 48"; but scrolling down to 'Features' / 'Blind Width = 40-49" & since several of her 'Thousand Arms' reach the border's edge - I can't imagine how I'd cut the width to fit the 42->44"w space where I'd mount this. + curious if the image shows on both sides? also, looking at the "Red Phoenix" blind design etc - all headlines read 48" / all 'Features' read : 40-49"; but at least I see cutting a couple of inches in from the edge would be OK w/the "Red Phoenix" layout

Wanted this screen to cover an area where my washer/dryer is. it does not have enough bamboo to make a real screen. If you want something to hide anything - look elsewhere.

  • Perfect for my Purpose

I have purchased other decorative blinds from this manufacturer, and find them to be just fine for my purposes. I needed something to keep the heat of the sun out, while still allowing light in. The sunflower pattern is all but invisible with the sun behind it, but the blind keeps the heat out nicely. I used another to hide an ugly (useless) mystery door in my old home, and the pattern is pretty with the white painted door behind it. The pattern shows nicely at night, and if the look of the pattern is what you want, line it with something as another reviewer suggests. Easy to install, works well!

  • Shoddy assembly..

Judging from the condition of the box this blind has already made a few trips. I am disappointed that I have to pay almost $ to return junk product. I just expected a good product after reading the one review. I am warning you. This is assembled unevenly so the lines in the weave are crooked. The wooden header is rough & not finished well. I like the monitor color, but this is a garish yellow finish. These are like match stick blinds & let light though random gaps. No more purchases by me that don't include free return shipping when the product is sub par.

These blinds are super! I've ordered blinds from Pier One, Anna's Linens, Lowes & Home Depot. These are my favorite, from rhe nutty color to the close, small size spacing to the ease of installation and operation. Good job Overstock! I highly recommend these.
