I was very pleased with this product and was able to install it myself. Would order it again.

The blind was beautiful. My husband and I could not figure out how it worked. I guess we weren't suppose to unroll the whole thing first but the instructions were wrapped up in the blind and was located at the bottom of the roll so we didn't see them until we had unfolded the blind and then the strings were all messed up and we could not figure out how to operate it. Contacted Overstock.com and they could not give us any instructions either so I sent it back.

I love this product. I hung it over an opening that shows my kitchen stove, it made the dining area look really nice. I love bamboos so this design was perfect for me. It looks for Oriental and elegant.

I debated whether to try rice paper blinds and for the price, I thought I would make the purchase. I bought 2 for a bathroom with the Asian theme. They were easy to install and are delicate but thick enough for some privacy. I would describe it as light filtering and it helps to keep the hot afternoon sun from heating up the room. I do not think it would be good for heavy use if you are putting the blind up and down several times a day or cautious use with kids. I like them and hope they hold up in the next couple of years. It gives the bath a great conversation piece and nice touch.

i would recommend to a friend the only thing I don;t like is the ropping in the front. It takes away from the design. Could the ropping be placed behind the shade. thanks

Even though I was expecting a while blind (according to the picture onsite), but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it looks when I hung it up. The natural bamboo color of the blind gives the room a soft glow. The installation is easy but the instruction is not too clear. I am buying two more of the same product (different sizes).

This window share is exactly what I wanted for my living room. It adds a touch of art and all my friends think it is beautiful. It is easy to roll up and down and was easy to install.

These are the worst blinds I have ever had. They came with tears in the paper, the bamboo was warped so they didn't hang straight. The strings on one broke after only a week of use. They were nothing like the picture displayed, except for the color.

like these paper shades very much. They are an interesting feature in the room, just a little different from ordinary window shades

I actually bought 4, trying to pick up a blue color . The blue on the clothing is VERY VERY purple. Even though I still wish the sash in the dress was the blue color that we see, It was too pretty to return.

Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but for a slightly pickier customer these probably won't do. They're easy to install and look lovely but if you leave them down let the sun shine on it for longer than a couple hours, it will warp and will damage the shade when you try to roll it back up.

I am very disappointed in this product. As a friend said, it looks like a Dr. Seuss design.

Lovely paper shades. Hardware is lightweight, but theses are inexpensive, so I wasn't expecting more. A great inexpensive way to get natural looking shades with a nice filtering of light (I bought white).

The shade is beautiful. It is thin as you would imagine with rice paper. The box said it was hand made, so the width is not the same for the entire length of the blind. It is not too noticeable and just adds to its uniqueness.

These are wonderful shades! I've had some before and they last for many years. Great for allowing light in but providing privacy.

Took a chance on these and I'm glad I did. Filters the sun beautifully. Light weight and simple to install, well worth the price.

the blinds were constructed incorrectly....the horizontal strips were on a slight angle which made it virtually impossible to hang them to my satisfaction... I would NOT ever order these again...too frustrating!!

We love this with one problem. The blind rolls up the wrong way. In other words the back side shows when it is rolled up and that is the way we have it most of the time. It is to cover our bath window when we have company in the yard. Not only does it roll backwards but it does not stay tightly wound. The rolled section that is....so it makes a pretty big lump if that is the word....against our window/wall. For now it will do but we will be searching for another alternative.

Very pleased with this product. I found that I couldn't really afford other blinds, yet these were priced very reasonably. I was surprised by the quality of this product. They were easy to hang and the operating mechanism works very well. We are using these blinds in a diningroom window that gets direct light from the setting sun right at dinner time. There are no gaps of sunlight shining through at all.
