The color is a dingy awful orange. Not red at all.

I'm using this blind as wall art on our patio. Although the description says red - it's more of an orange-red, which fortunately is fine for me because I have orange pillows. Was hoping the tourquoise was more prominant - but all-in-all, for the price it adds a nice touch to our patio.

We have just finished our home and my extra bedroom is an orange color, thought this curtain would be a great design for over the window. When I opened the box I was so disappointed. They look exactly like bamboo. There is no vibrant orange or yellow colors. Brown, just plain brown pieces of bamboo. No patterns, not anything liked described, except the 96 strands.

Why is the hardware in the front? That should not be visible. Otherwise they're nice blinds. I just put them up so can't speak to their durability. I have the multicolor blinds, they're very nice, not garish or anything - mainly green. No blue, red, orange or purple!

Choose the blinds for my sitting room which is red and a soft gray. Blinds featured Onsite were red and gray. Much to my surprise when I opened the box to find the blinds to be a orange and green in a very faded tone!

The Phoenix is really low on the blind, so, even if you have a window the full length as stated, the upper half of the blind is bland and you have to look down, to see the beauty of the design. Also, the orange/red is incredibly faded, which might look faux antique if your room is designed for such, but doesn't work if you have a vibrant colour scheme.

I bought two of the painted bamboo curtains to use as "doors" - then bought two of these to add to bulk and privacy. The curtain was described as "painted bamboo curtain features a burst of color in yellow and orange hues" which did not show in the photo. I was counting on it being as pictured NOT as described so I was very pleased that it is just bamboo with NO PAINT or bursts of color.

Just moved in to a new apartment and needed some curtains FAST before a friend came to visit and stay at my place. Originally, I was unsure if I made a wise purchase since I've never used Overstock before, but, I paid for the 2-day shipping and I ripped the package open when it was delivered!! I am MORE than satisfied and really happy! The curtains look great in my room -- I have an orange/white bed spread w/ other orange accents -- and give the space a funky, fun look. If I need to buy curtains like this in the future, I would definitely do it again. Even though the price is a little more than I'd like, I'd definitely buy these again in a heartbeat because no other online retailer has anything like it and the quality is great! **FYI to prospective buyers -- Overstock describes the curtain panels as "sheer," but they are not. You cannot see through them, nor do they block the light.**

Installation took about 5 minutes.... drilled two holes, screwed in two hooks and hang! At first I thought I wouldn't like that it's not actually 36 inches wide to cover the entire opening, but it's perfect! I don't see any of the orange tones mentioned, it's just a natural bamboo wood color which works for me. This is a decorative canvas to mildly conceal a room you may not want people looking directly into all the time. I emphasize mildly because with the lights on you will naturally be able to see into the room.

This a very typical bamboo shade. The quality is just OK, nothing special. I think the price is a little high in that it does not even have a valance, something that I did not note when ordering. So all the mecanisiam showes when hung, does not look finished. But my biggest complaitn is the color...way off. Mahogany, to my mind is a very deep redish brown...this shade is orange, the color of cinnamon. In fact it looks much like the blinds sold a couple of years ago in import stores, that were called "Cinnamon Blinds". To avoid the hassel of returning I have kept it and spray painted it brown..it workd out OK.

i'd already purchased several blinds in this line, so was expecting a very well made product with a quality reproduction. i was not disappointed. first of all, the blinds hang well, work well and are of fine material. then, the design. mona lisa! i bought it to bring a quirky punch to my living room, and she does just that. the detailing is superb. i've seen the real mona lisa when she was on tour in washington dc and of course, its comparing apples and oranges but the energy, beauty and transcendent life-like beauty is there. a bit eery, at first, in her energy, but delightful once accustomed to her presence. my other two blinds, variations on kwan yin, are much more muted in appearance [both beautiful]. lisa has a great deal more contrast, with the shading nearly black. nice, but it stands out more than i had imagined it would. do try any of the designs in this series. the price is great and you'll have something to smile about as you raise the shade in the morning, even if it is raining.
