Once the correct one was received, it seems OK. Was an issue in figuring out how to run the strings to operate the thing (strings simply bundled together and not set up for use). Instructions would have helped -
I had four large windows in a sun room to cover. I didn't want to spend $XXX for each blind. These worked out well. Only thing I don't like about these blinds is the mechanism for bringing the blinds up and down shows and is kind of unattractive. Otherwise I like the blinds.
Silly me was concerned because I wanted the parrots to face one another. Ordered two anyway and simply turned one aroun. They are awesome!
Love the look of rice paper blinds. They are fragile and it is easy to put a hole in them when you handle them. I just covered the holes as I managed to make them with sealing tape.

I needed a quick beautification for my kitchen windows which after five years had not been covered. That's because I couldn't decide what I wanted until I saw these simple shades. More beautiful in person, but they're not white as the picture would have you believe. They are a natural color like straw with brown lettering. They quite compliment my orange-ish faux finish kitchen wall. It took eight -36" shades to cover my many windows. They are as lovely as the view I covered. The only hardware you'll need is two nails or hooks (not included) for each shade. Simply hang shade on the nails, making sure the cord apparatus is facing you. I call them "patient shades" because you have to pull the cord slowly to roll them up using your other hand to roll the bottom inward.
I put these shades in my master bathroom and they look great. However you can see right threw them. I would recommend for style but if your looking for window cover these are not the ones.
This blind is really pretty. It's surprisingly detailed. The colors are understated, soft, but really attractive, and give the image a gentle, kind of ghostly quality. I'm using it as a room divider/screen, and it's excellent for this purpose. I think this blind is best rolled out to its full length, so I really recommend it as a wall hanging or screen. If it's covering a window, an all-or-nothing approach (fully rolled-up, or fully rolled-down) seems best, because the image might look awkward when it's only partially visible. Since I'm not rolling it up and down every day, I can't make a lot of claims about the blind's durability. It seems like it would hold up pretty well, but I'll probably never know. I'm really glad I ordered this blind. This image of Kwan Yin is beautiful. I agree with another reviewer who advises people to learn more about Kwan Yin, and Kwan Yin's thousand arms reaching out to assist us and ease suffering. I'm happy to have such a gorgeous reminder of mercy and compassion.
Others have curtains - This is different and an excellent choice for a window covering. I am glad I checked your site, before settling for the usual stuff!
