I've turned against machine-made, conventional furniture, and as this is my final shot at buying new I've been waiting for an interesting replacement for a tall, skinny, ugly, but useful chest of drawers I inherited. Tall and skinny with storage is hard to find! Worldstock finally came through with this stunning "individual hutch," which fits perfectly into the designated space. I love the eye-arresting combination of pale, stripped wood with dark, polished accents. I admit it doesn't hold as much as the old one, and it is a bit unsteady on its pins (a couple of quarters helped), but it is so gorgeous I'm happy to work with it. All my jewelry and some of my hard-to-display lusterware have found a home. Plus space for sweaters in the closed compartment.

This is a really nice cabinet. It's solidly built and very attractive. It works very well as a linen cabinet in my bathroom. It's also much nicer than anything else I found at this price. There are a few small issues: (1) It's slightly wobbly (and needed to be leveled), and (2) It has a strong chemical smell, perhaps sealant. The smell is fading, but it's taking awhile.
I am "assembly-challenged" and always look for furniture that's already assembled (sometimes overstock products are adverted as assembled but the reviewers talk about having to assemble them, so I'm always apprehensive), and I like to support worldstock fair trade products. The hutch arrived in perfect condition (I have never had a problem with overstock products getting damaged in the mail). It's exactly what I wanted to display my terra cotta pottery. I'm considering buying another.
