They are from a small town in Andhra Pradesh called Machilipatnam. The village is primary a printing and weaving town. The number of printers on a project is determined by demand. There can be as few as 5 and as many as 25 people printing on one project. All the fabric is hand-woven and printing, dyeing, washing is done by hand. This allows for the employment of several people in the village mostly men. The women normally stay at home and take care of farming. They do on occasion set up looms in their homes for weaving.

Beautiful Cover
This cover is a great size (very large), beautiful design, and well worth the price. I use this as a cover over my existing comforter because one of my dogs sleeps on the bed. I've already washed this item 3 times and it still looks great. I originally received a different color than what I ordered but Overstock quickly corrected the issue. They sent a return label and shipped the correct item within 2 days of my initial contact. I highly recommend purchasing the matching pillow cases!
