When I first got this vase, I thought 'WOW!' what a great looking vase. It's detail is extremely beautiful and the material and finish are perfect. I highly recommend this vase for any décor as I would the whole NAUTICA line from National Geographic of which Overstock sells a nice variety at a perfect price point. I'm proceeding with purchasing the rest of their collection. Note: not for planter use!
Both the color and design in the picture are accurate. Combined with similar 4 inch vases from this manufacturer (such as the tortoiseshell design or others), it makes a terrific decorative combination.

We had a lot of comments on this vase. it's really a beautiful vase, it looks extremely expensive but it's isn't, we have it in the corner near our fire place, it looks great no matter where you put it. or what rm. you put it in;, I recommend it, You'll get a lot of complements on this vase, if you buy it, you'll love it.
The work on this vase is amazing in the way it accents the natural characteristics of the wood. Polished to a smooth satin finish it looks beautiful sitting on my coffee table. Love love this vase.
