Story Behind the Art:
These beautiful pillows are crafted from kilims, which are known as 'pile-less' rugs. The design is also known as 'slit-weave'. These intricate designs are achieved by interweaving the various colors of the vertical and horizontal strands of the rug. This particular pillow design was made by Mr. Mahmood and his family. They do the entire process of shearing, washing, dyeing of the wool and weaving of the kilim within their own compound.

flat pillows
the pillow is very well made but pretty flat, it looks good but is not comfortable to lay your face on due to it's abrasive texture, but if you flip it over you'll be fine.

Indo Kilim Pillows
I was so excited to receive the Kilim pillows. They are beautiful and will fit into any room in the house.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? The colors on the "site" where not true . The colors on the pillows were just right. Although new pillows, they appear "vintage".

Cool pillows
Good pillows. Please note the color is a bit off. It's a bit more on the warm earthy tones than the grey cool tones than I was expecting. Also wool is rough so these arn't very comfortable pillows. But overall I'm very happy and recommend them.
