Just OK
I thought this look would be cool in my backyard. The umbrella is just OK. The umbrella arrived splintered and broken. Overstock quickly replaced it. Thank you O. Here are the downsides: The pole is bamboo or whatever and it is large and uneven therefore making it difficult to fit into any standard base. You have to be careful when pushing the mechanism upward as again it is bamboo and will splinter causing the arms to be uneven. The thatched part isn't as full or fluffy as I'd hoped for. I'm using it for now but doubt it will be around next year. Going back to a more traditional umbrella.....

Thatched Umbrella
They seem to be made well. They're very heavy and the poles are not uniform in size so we had an issue fitting them into the stands we have. They had to be shaved down to be made smaller to fit.
