Story Behind the Art:
Khun Na from Thailand says, 'My husband and I started outsourcing products for customers. Over the years we have seen many designs made by artisans and have been presented with sketches from many clients. We have to interpret the requested design so that it can be fashioned in a manner that the wood workers can make consistently and that is pleasing to the client from their original idea. We have started to create our own designs using as much of the scrap and recycled wood as possible that is generated from squaring up a log. We find beauty in the natural inclusions and try to use them as often as possible. These designs grow from trends and ideas that we have seen over the years and that customer's voice they would like to see.'

Teak octagon mirror
I like the mirror, but be aware that it does not have the shiny finish that you can see online. It came quickly, very well packaged, but it is very rustic looking. I don't mind it since it is the look of the room that I wanted it for, but I wish that it had a better finish on it. It could use a stain finish... It's a little deceiving when you compare it to what you see on the screen... It is obviously something that I can do myself but I still think that it should have looked as the image shown on the website. I would still recommend it as it was well priced for a mirror of that size. Be aware that it is extremely heavy!
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? not exactly
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I was a bit disappointed... Looks like I need to put a finish on it.
