Story Behind the Art:
Khun Na describes her work: 'My husband and I started out sourcing products for customers. Over the years I have seen many designs made by artisans and have been presented with sketches from many clients. We have to interpret the requested design so that it can be fashioned in a manner that the wood workers can make consistently and that is pleasing to the client from their original idea. We try to adapt existing wood workers designs to fit the client's desires. We have started to create our own designs using as much of the 'scrap and recycled' wood as possible. These designs grow from trends and ideas that we have seen over the years and that customer?s voice they would like to see.'

Nice for the Price
I bought this towel rack for a bathroom in a new house rather than buying something that needs to be mounted on the wall. It isn't small so it takes up a good amount of space on the floor which is OK for my bathroom but I could imagine it would overpower a smaller bathroom. All-in-all the quality is nice. I would rather the screws been flush mounted rather than sitting on the surface of the wood. Also there are four screws that hold that bottom shelf that I wasn't able to install using my driver. They are underneath the shelf and would go in ok with the supplied allen wrench but I didn't see the point since there are four external screws as well. In the end, it a nice looking towel tack especially for the price. Definitely will fit right in with Teak or Bamboo theme.

Item differs from picture
Item was easy to assemble, each joint clearly marked and pre-drilled. Only comment is that the stand I received has a slanted top rack, higher at the rear than at the front.

Poor Construction
This stand looks fine once assembled, but getting there was quite an ordeal. For starters, there are no assembly instructions. Instead, each rod is labeled in marker and the corresponding holes are marked to match. Unfortunately, the marker was faded from the rods so I just did some guess work. Four screws are missing for the bottom shelf. I was able to attach it, but there are no screws for the anchor holes. Not a huge deal, but still. Some of the screws were stripped. One looked as though it had been used before. The allen wrench/hex key included had rounded edges, making it almost worthless. I MIGHT pay $** for this product. As I mentioned, it does look good but given the price and the shoddy construction, I would not recommend purchasing this item.
