I love this wall hanging, reminds me so much of my trip to Thailand. The colors are gorgeous and tie well into pastels. We have a hideous pink baby blue, and mint green tiles in our bathroom, somehow this tapestry is able to pull all those colors together. The shipping took quiet awhile compared to other purchases I've made from Overstock. Also, be aware, there are no tapestry materials included to hang this item you'll have to find a method of hanging on your own (curtain rod, tapestry holder, etc...). There are two slots on the top and bottom to put dowels or rods through.

I did not feel the description was accurate. The tapestry looked cheap, not hand-woven. Disappointing quality for the price. I returned the product.

I think it's lovely and looks just as one would expect. I'd describe it as pink rather than red, though.

This was a great purchase. It is a good size and well done. Specificially, the colors are captivating and the weaving is perfect in its presentation. The art piece was a gift for someone who has lots of Peruvian art. She enjoyed the meaning of the calendar and the 12 squares that represent each month. The cost was also very reasonable.

the only disappointment was all the wrinkles and the need to iron this before having framed..

Just as pictured, perfect color and detail. Arrived bent/folded, and has not straightened yet. Requires some sort of frame or support, would not look right on it's own.

I like this piece however it arrived a bit wrinkled around the edges... had to flatten it out between a couple of books.

This should not be sold as a "Wall Hanging". Although pretty, this item is more like a table runner or even a scarf. It is very thin and lightweight. I'm not even sure how you would hang it. The description is honestly misleading. Will be returning.

The border around the batik was sewn crooked. It was 2 1/2" longer on left side of corner on the bottom than on the right end of the bottom.

This wall hanging has so many colors that it goes in almost any space. The colors are somewhat muted and I think the hanging is a little smaller than the dimensions given, but it still filled the need we had .

I love this artist and have purchased some of her other work. This did not disappoint! Colors are fun, detail is great and lively. There are two rod pockets, one on the top, one on the bottom so you can use whatever rod you want to hang. Just love it. Definitely recommend.

Formal living rooms need something more than a standard curtain rod to exude elegance and timelessness. You can have the most luxurious couches and elaborate wall art, but without the right window treatments, the room will still feel bare. The best curtain fabric to hang in living rooms is typically something heavy, with a sheen, like damask or silk. These weighty textiles need equally strong hardware to balance the look. Here are the best curtain hardware styles for your formal living room.
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.
Curtains are a great way to accent the decor in every room in the house. Tension rods, also called spring rods, are curtain hardware which allow you to hang window curtains, wall curtains or shower curtains without installing curtain rod hardware on the walls. If an existing tension rod slips or if you want to change the curtain panels or add curtain rings, you may need to remove and adjust the rod before putting it back in place. Tension rods are positioned between two facing surfaces, such as the interior frame of a window or the opposing sides of a shower cubicle.
Curtains add privacy and style to a room, but before you buy a set, you'll need to know which size is right. You'll find that curtains usually come in lengths of 63 inches, 84 inches, 95 inches, 108 inches, and 120 inches. The length you choose will depend on the look that you want as well as the placement of your curtain rod.
When you need to quickly hang hemmed drapes or curtains, drapery hooks are an effective and easy-to-use option. The basic style of this curtain hardware staple is a single wire folded against itself; one end has a sharp prong and the other end is bent into a curved hook. In fact, these hooks, also known as drapery pins, almost look like large fishing hooks. Variations of this type of curtain hardware include additional prongs, angled hooks and blunt tips. All drapery pins and hooks work the same way, and the technique is fairly easy to master. If you're looking for a simple window treatment project, these hooks are the ideal drapery hardware because you can successfully hang drapes and curtains with them without a lot of time, hassle or tools. Read on for instructions on hanging drapery hooks in your windows.
With all of the many different shower curtains and liners, curtain rods, rings, and hook sets, it's easy to find the perfect shower curtain combination for your bathroom. The question now is how to set it all up once you've found it. Although most shower curtains are a standard size, you can also opt for slightly longer varieties, and you can always make use of differing heights of rods and use shower curtain rings to create the length you want.
Curtains can add a distinct feel or the finishing touch to a room. Whether the room is undergoing a complete remodel or just needs sprucing up, the selection of window curtains can add or distract from the desired outcome. Things to consider before selecting curtains are the room they will hang in, color, style and design elements such as curtain hardware and embellishments. Consider whether the curtains are more functional or ornamental in use.
Round curtain rings are quickly becoming a common window treatment option in many homes because they are both attractive and easy to open and close. Round rings typically come in colors and finishes that match the curtain hardware and are complementary to the drapery design, which allows them to be used in almost any setting. If want to hang your curtains from round rings, follow these steps for attaching the rings to make sure the curtains hang correctly.
Window cornices are just one of the many window treatments that can make standard curtains a decorative fixture in the room. They are typically rectangular boxes that house a curtain rod or valance, but can also be found in different shapes, styles and materials. Cornices mounted close to the ceiling and covering the gap between the wall and window can make a room appear taller and more dramatic. To learn more about decorating using a window cornice, read on.

Blackout curtains can keep a room cool and dark even when it's bright and sunny outside. A completely dark room is a wonderful thing if you have a job that requires you to work all night or even if you just want a dark room for watching a movie when it's light outside. In addition, blackout window treatments help you conserve energy by keeping heat in and cold out or vice versa. You have two choices when it comes to installing blackout curtains: You can buy curtains that come with blackout liners already sewn in, or you can add panels of blackout fabric to the curtains you already own.

Arched windows allow light to enter the home through beautifully curved glass. Decorative arched windows create a spacious feel and add warmth from the sun's glow while providing a wide view of the outdoors. Dressing an arched window for privacy is similar to adding window treatments to standard square or rectangular windows, with a few adjustments. Drapes, valances and curtains can be fitted for arched windows and coordinated with standard window treatments in the home.
