I love this lamp!! I get a TON of compliments on it. My living room is fall colors with different leaf objects on the wall. This fits perfectly with my decor. I might buy another one if I can find a smaller size. Great price for being handmade and "organic".
I like lamps that are unique and can add interest to the room, and these lamps (I ordered two) are as charming as I hoped they'd be. My interest in lamps began when I had bought a buffet lamp with a mica shade years ago for my entry table. Because it provided the most inviting warm glow, I'm always on the lookout for lamps that would replicate the same ambiance. These Moroccan lamps, which I'm using for my sunroom, do provide that same warm glow. This lamp would serve best in an area where you would like minimal lighting. It would make a very interesting nightlight. It has a soft orange/amber glow. I'm very happy with my purchase and I was delighted with the quick delivery. I'm new to Overstock but now that it's on my radar, I plan on using it in the future. Thanks for the great service.
Do not expect to read by this lamp- only meant for decoration purposes but absolutely beautiful both on and off! Have it in my living room in front of a blue wall - looks great on the buffet. Leaves have been carefully placed so there is no overlapping. They have been placed on a normal lampshade and then coated so there is no chance of them coming off - really good craftsmanship. Actually purchased 2 others from same company and love them all - good conversation pieces.
I bought two and am very happy with them. The 60-Watt Candelabra Light Bulb mentioned in previous reviews weren't too hard to find, I found it in my local Bed, Bath and beyond. The switch in on the cord which can be a little tough to find sometimes. I wish the base was a little heavier as looking for the switch sometimes turns the whole lamp around. Would be great if it had a dimmer.
Pretty little lamp for our location. On a small table in an office lobby. Works well with small florescent bulb.
