  We bought these lamps for our bedroom in Spain. We paid the freight and customs to get them to Spain and will have to use transformers to step them down from 220 from the wall to 110 for the bulbs. We thought they were more blue and white which would have fit our color scheme including our drapes perfectly. Turns out they are blue and gray and while attractive, do not fit our plan as we had hoped. We will keep them because they are pretty and we have had great difficulty finding suitable lamps in Spain. Had the gray been white, I would have rated them as excellent.

  I had read mixed reviews on these lamps before buying them, but I decided to take the chance. So glad I did! The lamps arrived very quickly, were very easy to assemble, and look great on our nightstands! The shade produces a great light that's romantic yet functional and I love the pull chain. However, I will say that the base is not real wood, more like a sticker on another material. Still wouldn't lower my rating, though. Would definitely recommend this lamp for a unique, contemporary feel!

  The quality was poor given the price of this lamp. The base was plastic and skewed from the jar. After some bending things back into shape and hammering the base to get it lined up, the lamp looks ok. The color of the jar is great. The shade I thought was supposed to be silk but I think it is synthetic fabric. The packing was poor and destroyed which could explain part of the damage but not the base which was tightly secured askew and off center.
