    Add a celestial touch to your deck, porch, or bedroom with the Sun, Moon, and Stars Ceramic wind chime.

    One side of the wind chime has the Sun and the reverse has the Moon. Its soothing sounds will relax and calm you down when you are in a bad mood or you just want to take a break from the busy world.
    The wind chime is made by artisans in a small village of Peru. They use ceramic clay and fire it at elevated temperatures. Then, each piece is hand-textured and hand-painted using different types of enamels and pigments. The artisans pay great attention to detail to achieve a high level of quality, resulting in a stunning finished product.

    The Story Behind The Product

    Gabriel works with his wife and 9 other craftsmen in Lima, Peru. Gabriel learned the art of ceramics from his father, continuing the tradition of passing this knowledge down from father to son. This art was used by the Incas for ceremonial offerings and ornaments. Gabriel?s clay comes from providers in Lima and Cuzco. The main source of business for Gabriel and the other 10 artisans who work with him and depend on the sale of these products is Worldstock. These 11 artists hope that you will find as much joy in owning their creations as they did in creating them.

    What is Worldstock?

    The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

    • The wind chimes are beautiful. I have gotten many comments on them. They are very well made. I like the fact that the moon, sun, and stars are all incorporated into the chimes. The reverse side of the sun in the moon which adds character to the chimes. I feel that I got a well made products at an excellent price.

      Main problem was in the wrapping of the items which was inadequate as one of the items was broken upon derlivery; not enough padding on the items nor in the box. Item colorful and attractive.

      I sent this as a birthday gift and was very disappointed that the item is made of plaster of Paris and not ceramic. You would think a wind chime would be more sturdy.

    • Charming Wind Chime/Mobile

      This is a beautifully made and handsome wind chime which I actually use as a mobile. So I couldn't really say if it's an effective wind chime as it's hanging in my kitchen. The yellow sun has lots of personality. The piece is sturdy but I treat it respectfully. Since having purchased it about three years ago, it still remains colorful, attractive, and a beautiful addition to my kitchen.

    • Gorgeous

      I purchased t his Wind Chime for my daugher-in-law for Christmas. With the rush of the holidays I received the chimes and wrapped them without looking closely at it. We were both delighted as she unwrapped the packaging! Very well constructed, brightly colored and a nice size. The picture doesn't do it justice! I am considering purchasing two more. One for my brother who volunteers in Peru, and one for me! Thrilled with this product!

    • Wind Chime

      I ordered 3 of these last year. I went to my son's this past weekend, one was sent to him last year. I could not believe this item. It was the first time I saw what I ordered. It was so small, you could hardly see it in the tree. As you notice, the size is not on the item when ordering it. It LOOKS very large and beautiful. It was small, does not chime, and is a tiny VERY expensive for what I received for the money. Terrible.

    • Gone With The Wind Chimes

      The chimes I purchased were beautiful and had a great sound, but it took three times to get them delivered. Luckily, time was NOT of the essence, since the Christmas holiday had come and gone, and once they were finally received, they were music to the recipient's ears. Wonderfully crafted and colorfully painted, they really are a sight to see as they tinkle in the wind. Thank you, and I'll be sure to shop Overstock.com again, for even though there was a slight delivery problem, the staff corrected it and got the job done!
