For the cost, I was extremely surprised by what it ended up being. I thought it was going to be a solid round barrel-ish hamper. It actually arrived in smallish flat box. The bamboo are little boards that you stand up to create a cylinder. You put a round hoop in the top and tie with ties that are affixed to the bamboo shell. There's a round board that serves as the bottom and some fasteners to keep it there. I wouldn't mind it if wasn't for the price! Far too expensive for what it is.
When I got this flat box delivered I thought this product would be flimsy and cheap. To the contrary, it was very well made and is holding together well also. The size is great and the color matched exactly. But the top was held on with a piece of material which wasn't substantial enough and started to tear so I cut it off and all is well.

I purchased this chest for our spare bedroom to hold extra blankets and it is perfect. It is very lightweight and easy to move. It is a great accent piece to the foot of the bed. It could even be easily spray painted if you wanted to add some style to the piece. I am very pleased with my purchase!
I really love this hamper it goes perfect with the decor in my bathroom.
