This is a gorgeous piece of hand-carved Walnut wood. Shipment was prompt and the product undamaged.

  • Texture and Value

I wanted to add some accent pieces to my den that had texture. This storage stool is great for the money. I actually ended up spray painting it another color so that it matched better with other items in the room. I put a couple throws in the stool and a round chair cushion on the top to make it more comfy and colorful.

  • Awesome! Makes a beautiful end table too!

This is a truly unique purchase! I bought this to use as a table between two accent chairs in my brand new home. It works beautifully and I'm sure I'll receive lots of compliments! And yes, it is very heavy!

  • Disappointed. Cracked within 2 weeks.

We ordered 2 of these and were very happy with their appearance. However, less than one month later both stools are showing severe cracks in the wood. Both on the top and the bottom. One of the cracks has gotten so deep it goes 1/3 of the way through the entire piece. We only use them as occasional end tables to hold a cup of coffee or glass of wine. They don't even bear any weight. On that note if you wanted to use these as "stools" like the name suggests you would have a hard time. They are WAY too small and obviously wouldn't hold up to that level of use. Overall we are pretty disappointed that a brand new item looks old and damaged in just a couple of weeks. Looks like they will have to end up being plant stands or something less visible in our space.
